PayPal 6.0 Introduces New Design to Make Sending and Requesting Money Easier

Android / iOS: PayPal is a great way to send and receive money from people, so it’s pretty silly that its app hides this feature behind layers of silly menus. PayPal’s latest update fixes all of this.

As avid PayPal users probably know, the previous version of the app opened on a rather useless store screen, which for some reason tried to nudge you towards various “offers.” You couldn’t even see your balance right away without going to a separate section of the application. For an application that functions primarily like a bank, it was awkwardly not focused on what its users wanted.

The new version 6.0 of the application changes the situation with a completely new interface. Now when you log in, you will see your PayPal balance at the top and then two large buttons will appear to send and request money. You can also find a quick link to your PayPal.me page in the app settings. Interface design isn’t always a big deal, but if you find PayPal disappointing about what you really need it for, a new version might be a lot better for you.
