ITerm Opens Beta, Adds New Look, Password Manager and Shell Integration
Mac: iTerm has long been our favorite terminal emulator for Mac , and today the next big update has entered public beta. It has tons of new features.
The most notable feature is the new look that brings iTerm more in line with OS X’s post-Yosemite design. Other than that, iTerm lacks additional shell integration , automatic profile switching, icons, a new password manager, and a host of other smaller features. It’s still beta, of course, so you might not want to use it as your day-to-day driver terminal emulator, but it’s still worth taking a look at all the features that are on the way.
