Keep Your Camera Slider Balanced and Smooth With the Macro Focus Bar

If you use the camera slider carriage to pan your shots, the weight of some lenses can cause the carriage to tilt slightly forward and cause the carriage to jam. You can solve this problem with the focus bar of the macro.

This video from youtuber- thefrugalfilmaker demonstrates a clever way to protect your heavy lenses from spoiling your perfectly smooth slider frames . Just add a macro focusing bar to your rig right above the slider carriage ( it uses the DSLRKIT 2-Way ). If the lens you are using is too heavy and causes the slider to jam, you can re-adjust the camera on the focus guide and rebalance the carriage slider so it glides smoothly from side to side.
