Build a Small Text-to-Speech Machine With Raspberry Pi

Ever wanted your Raspberry Pi to talk to you? Adafruit has a guide on how to add text-to-speech to your Pi so it can say whatever you want.

In their example, they built a little talking clock, but you can do whatever you want with it as soon as you install the software. Since its source code is open source, it probably won’t sound as good as off-the-shelf products, but it’s still a fun little project that is bound to have interesting features. Visit Adafruit for a complete guide.
