We all retention urine sometimes for a variety of reasons, and while it’s harmless in the short term, this video explains what happens to your body as you get used to doing it over time.

You may face some unpleasant long-term consequences such as urinary retention and an increased risk of infection. Urinary retention is the inability to empty the bladder completely. Constant retention of urine can weaken the muscles in the bladder, which can cause urinary retention as we age.
