NBC Launches Seeso, an All-Ad-Free Comedy Site for $ 4 a Month
There are clearly not enough sites these days that broadcast video content, so NBC decided to create another one. Seeso, as it is called, focuses on comedy and costs a lot less at $ 3.99 a month.
The service primarily serves content created or licensed by NBC. This includes Saturday Night Live, 30 Rock, Parks and Rec and more. There are also older shows like Monty Python and Kids in the Hall. Seeso also has no ads, which is an attractive feature if you’ve been considering the $ 8 Hulu tier to get some of these shows. The narrow focus on comedy seems to be what allows NBC to justify such a low price. However, if you are trying to limit the number of streaming sites you subscribe to and you really enjoy comedy shows, Seeso may be for you.
