LastPass Updates Its Interface, Adds Emergency Access and Better Sharing

LastPass is one of the best password managers out there . Today it has gotten a bit better with an improved interface and a few new features.

The new interface makes LastPass much easier to use, with an emphasis on larger icons, easier navigation, and brighter colors. The password vault now has large icons with the site logo, you can now switch between grid and list, and the Add menu has been simplified to make it easier to save new information. You can now also bulk select items to quickly make multiple changes at once. Plus, if you don’t like the new interface, you can go back to the old one with the click of a button.

Also new is the Emergency Access feature, with which you can assign proxies to access your vault in the event of an emergency. When someone tries to access your account, you will have the option to deny them if you can. When it comes to shared passwords, the new Sharing Center makes it easy to exchange passwords over an encrypted network, so you don’t have to rely on text messages or emails. Today, all new features are being deployed to the web and mobile applications.
