How to Send Audio From Your Computer to Chromecast
Windows / Mac: The most popular apps let you cast audio and video to Chromecast right from the app itself, but not everyone supports this. Instead of just streaming from one specific app, you can cast all of your computer’s audio through Chromecast for maximum support.
On Windows, you need a Chromecast Audio Stream . After installing it, simply select the Chromecast from the tray icon and your audio will start streaming.
On Mac, you can useSoundcast . Here, you first need to install Soundflower and then install Soundcast (you may need to reboot after installing Soundflower). Then select Soundcast from the menu bar, select Chromecast and you’re done.
That’s it, now all of your computer’s audio should pass through the Chromecast. This should work for everything from iTunes to video games and random MP3s you play from a folder.
