Force Safari ICloud to Sync Manually With Mac

Having trouble syncing your Safari history and settings via iCloud? OS X Daily points to a small tweak in the Mac app that forces the sync process to start.

Safari is supposed to automatically sync your history and tabs, but it doesn’t always get the job done. First things first, you need to enable hidden debug mode for Safari. Open Terminal (Applications> Utilities) and enter:

by default they write com.apple.Safari IncludeInternalDebugMenu 1

Then press Enter. When you open Safari, the Debug menu appears on the menu bar. Click Debug> Sync iCloud History to force everything to sync to iCloud. If you’re having trouble sending a webpage to your iPhone, this is a handy manual way to do it.
