I love having holiday cocktails running until January 1st, but I don’t want to waste a ton of time playing bartender. This two-piece creation from FWx looks extraordinary and requires little effort.
This refreshing herbal drink, made with a complex amaro (I’d recommend a “medium,” like Averna or Lucano ) and mint leaves, tops the sum of its two parts. Just toss an ounce of liquor, about five mint leaves, and a bunch of ice into a shaker. Shake and strain. The result is an invigorating, wintery digestif with a ton of flavor that’s far more labor intensive than it actually is. Enjoy looking at snowy trees or fake fire on Netflix.
