Alton Brown knows a thing or two about kitchen gadgets and their versatility. In this hilarious video from the Daily Dot, he pokes fun at some of the more flamboyant ones and explains why most of these “unit makers” aren’t worth your money.
In the video, Alton reads some Amazon reviews of a number of popular kitchen tools that do exist for one purpose (maybe a few if you’re really stretching it) and explains why they’re useless at worst and funny at best. Even if you use them for their intended purpose, they will simply take up space on the other 364 days of the year when you are not actually using them. From a simple (but rather useless) strawberry knife to the infamous Rollie Eggmaster , this is a true tour of gruesome kitchen gadgets.
