Facebook Can Now Help You Find Nearby Events to Go To
iOS: Facebook has become the de facto method of organizing events simply because the platform has it all. Now, if you want to get out of the house (and you have an iOS device), you can browse a new section of the app designed to connect you with a group that you can agree with.
This feature is currently being tested with iOS users, presumably for deployment to other platforms in the future. You can browse events based on what interests you, so you will be paired with people with whom you have common ground. Or you can browse by date. So if you have a free weekend ahead, you can find something to do in advance.
