Tap the Google Icon to Start a New Search While Keeping the Old One.

Android: On your desktop, you’re probably used to having multiple Google search tabs open at once. You can now do the same by clicking the Google icon before starting a new search on Android.

As Android Police points out, usually if you are looking for something on Android and want to start a new search, it will override the last one you were looking for. However, if you tap the Google icon in the search box before you start typing, a new search instance will be created. So you can click the Recent button (Lollipop and above) to cycle through your previous searches like in the screenshot above. It’s not quite the same as having multiple tabs in a desktop browser, but close.

Advice. When you tap the G icon in the Google Search app, a new search is created, and the previous one remains available using the Recent | Police Android
