Save Time on Smoothies by Using Whole Strawberries (Including Tops)

If you plan on using strawberries to make a smoothie, save time by simply tossing it all into a blender. As long as you wash them well, you don’t have to waste time peeling them or risk losing something good – which you always do when you try to clean them.

After all, strawberry tops are edible, so there’s no reason to waste time peeling them to make a mixed drink like a smoothie. The other ingredients in your smoothie will mask the herbal flavors of the tops so you don’t lose out on the delicious strawberry pulp. Be sure to wash your strawberries thoroughly to remove any dirt that might get on the tops and you’re done.
