Target Will Now Match Prices Even at More Stores, Including Costco

Target just made it easy to get down to “just one thing” and walk away with a bunch of things you never knew existed. To date, the retailer has made significant changes to its price matching policy. Here’s what’s new.

A number of retailers have pretty decent pricing matching policies , but Target has only matched five stores so far (Amazon.com, Walmart.com, BestBuy.com, ToysRUs.com, and BabiesRUs.com). Starting October 1, they will match the prices of an additional 24 retailers. According to the site, here is the complete list:

Amazon.com, Babiesrus.com, BedBathBeyond.com, Bestbuy.com, BN.com, Buybuybaby.com, Costco.com, CVS.com, Diapers.com, DicksSportingGoods.com, Drugstore.com, Gamestop.com, JCPenney. com, Kmart.com, Kohls.com, Macys.com, Newegg.com, Officedepot.com, Petco.com, Petsmart.com, Samsclub.com, Sears.com, SportsAuthority.com, Staples.com, Target.com, Toysrus.com, Ulta.com. Walgreens.com, Walmart.com and Wayfair.com.

Costco and Sam’s Club in particular are impressive considering you need a membership to shop there. Moreover, the Target price adjustment period is now also longer. You now have 14 days to ask for a price adjustment if you buy something and then see it cheaper elsewhere. In addition, products on the target website can now also be compared by price.

This is all pretty good news for consumers as it makes finding and getting the lowest price even easier. As we told you earlier, you can use a price comparison app like Red Laser to search for prices in the store, and when you shop online, check out InvisibleHand .
