Create a DIY Storage Container That Can Be Stored Almost Anywhere

Over the years, we DIY craftsmen accumulate leftovers of screws, nails, nuts and bolts from every project. This wheeled storage trolley can hold a ton of equipment and when it’s full you can easily assemble another one.

Mason banks and wall vaults are great ways to organize your equipment, but they can get you locked in a specific location, which can be frustrating when you need to expand or reorganize your store.

The equipment storage trolley shown in the video is made of 1/2 inch MDF (plywood too), four casters and wood screws. To make it, you will need a table saw, drill / screwdriver, and a pocket hole tool .

It uses French cleats to hold individual equipment buckets to the frame and provides more flexibility. The equipment storage unit can be rolled up under the workshop bench so your equipment is always within reach without getting in the way.
