Safely Remove Leaves From Gutters With the DIY Shop-Vac Add-On
In the fall, leaves can clog gutters and cause serious problems if you don’t take preventive measures . This DIY PVC tube extension will fit a Leaf Blower or Shop-Vac and blow the leaves out of the chute without getting too high.
In the video above, the popular YouTuber CrazyRussianHacker shows you how you can create an extension with just two pieces of PVC. Connect the parts, connect the extension cord to the Shop-Vac or leaf blower and you’re done. The length of PVC pipe you need will of course depend on the height of the gutters, but it should be a simple measurement. You can buy extensions that do the same thing, but it’s a little cheaper to make them yourself, and they’re guaranteed to get you where you want them to be, because it’s a custom job.
