Detox for Facebook Replaces Your Feed With the Latest News
Chrome / Firefox / Safari: Facebook is the infamous receiver of the time. Most of us thoughtlessly go to the site and spend hours looking at trivial information, like what a friend ate for breakfast. If you get the idea, consider Detox: it replaces your Facebook feed with up-to-date news feed.
The browser extension is taken from the previously mentioned Panda news feed . You simply download the extension, enable it via Facebook, and it replaces your feed with content from sites available on Panda: Product Hunt, Hacker News and Designer News, to name a few. You can also use Detox ‘Auto Activation’ and schedule specific days and hours when you want the extension to work.
You can activate the Randomize Feed feature to show different news sources, but for now you will only see one source feed at a time. The creators, via Product Hunt, say they are considering channel mixing and are also working on adding additional channels.
