Prepare a Batch of Soda Party Fruit in the Beverage Fridge

If you’re looking for the perfect party snack, the audience will love this fizzy fruit. All you need to make it is some fruit, some dry ice, and a few more things.

We’ve shown you how to make carbonated fruit before, but this method from the YouTube channel ChefSteps allows you to do a lot more, so it’s not a party trick, but rather a party snack. Take a pound of dry ice and place it on the bottom of an insulated beverage refrigerator (not Styrofoam). Then cover the dry ice with a rag so that nothing can touch it. Place a bunch of watermelon, grapes, oranges or any other fruit inside, and then cover them with plastic wrap to prevent gases from getting inside. In about 12-14 hours, you will have a whole batch of carbonated fruits that will amaze your friends. Just make sure everyone has a quick snack because the sizzle will only last about 30 minutes after you open the cooler.
