Pixar in a Box Teaches the Basics of How Pixar Works
Khan Academy and Pixar have launched Pixar in a Box, a new course designed to teach kids the practical use of everything they learn in school and the basics of creative projects.
Pixar in a Box is not as cool a class as we usually think. While there are classes across everything from character modeling to animation, Pixar in a Box aims more at showing how basic concepts like math can be used in creative fields. As you’d expect from Pixar, it’s a good balance between practical concepts and creative endeavors. It’s free, too, and even if you’re not really into animation, there is some value in learning how Pixar does it.
