Workflow Adds Today Widget for Instant Automation on IOS
iOS: Workflow is an incredibly powerful iOS app that lets you create your own miniature extensions to make it easy to work with multiple iOS apps. It received an update today that added a new Today widget so you can start these workflows without even unlocking your device.
With the Today widget, you can quickly start workflows, and in some cases, you can do so without even unlocking your device. A few examples of the new widget in action include logging your weight in a health app, opening Google Maps and getting bike routes for the next event on your calendar, or even just one-touch speed dialing of a friend. Basically, pretty much everything you can do with Workflow can now be done from the Action Center. The update also adds sync, so all your workflows will persist and sync across devices.
