A great HDTV – large screen, great picture quality, and robust features – doesn’t have to cost a ton of money. We capped the price at $ 500 and asked you to pick your favorite budget HDTVs . We then reviewed the five best budget HDTVs and put them to a vote. We are now back to crown the winner.
The 50-inch Smart LED HDTV VIZIO E50-C1 took first place in our poll with 35% of the vote. Its affordable price, smart TV features, beautiful design and, of course, the famous VIZIO value for money made it popular both in the nominations and in the final round of voting.
While the last VIZIO took first place, its predecessor came in second. The 50-inch Smart LED HDTV VIZIO e500i-A1 received Silver with 24% of the vote. Offering similar features to the more modern flagship at a reduced price point, many of you have opted for the older version just to save a few dollars. Third place went to the TCL Roku TV 50 ”50FS3800 , a beautiful panel with a baked Roku inside and all the controls and ports you could possibly want. In fourth place, with about 12% of the vote, the 39-inch 4K Ultra HD LED TV Seiki SE39UY04 was the only 4K TV in our roundup, but it’s definitely worth considering if you want a great set and 4K compatibility and you willing to give up a few inches of screen size to get it. In fourth place was the Scepter E555BV-FMQR 55 ”LED HDTV , an inexpensive but simple kit that was also the largest in our roundup.
