Vurb Searches Dozens of Services, Stores Information About Movies, Events and More
Android / iOS: The web is full of useful information, but it can be a little scattered. Vurb aims to solve this problem by collecting all the data it can find in various services in one place and giving you the tools to organize it.
The app lets you search for things like movies, TV shows, restaurants, or other places. It will automatically receive reviews from Yelp, IMDb, Metacritic, Rotten Tomatoes, and whatever else it can find. You can find out the address and location, find out the opening hours of the establishment and make a reservation.
You can save “cards” of shows, places and events in “decks” for easy review later. Vurb even includes a built-in messaging app, so you can send information in the app to other people you know. While this is a bit ambitious for a small app, the idea is that you can get all the information you need in one place, rather than switching between a dozen apps.
