FilePizza Provides Peer-to-Peer File Sharing in Your Web Browser

Peer-to-peer file sharing services like BitTorrent Sync are a great way to share large files without paying for third-party cloud storage, but it still requires a software download. FilePizza shares files via a peer-to-peer network, but it does so right in your browser.

When you drag a file to FilePizza, you are presented with a link. Send this link to someone and they can start downloading the file right in their browser right from you. Basically, your file never touches a third-party server, it’s just a direct connection from your computer to whoever receives it. If you close the File Pizza window, the transfer will be aborted. The software is also completely open source , so if you’re worried about what it stores, you can dig into their code.
