You don’t need a high quality lighting system to take photos with good lighting. Use your tablet or smartphone to paint light for your shots.
School of Digital Photography explains how to take a photo like the one above. It involves taking a few shots of the subject, focusing the light at different points, then creating the final image in Photoshop and using layer masks to show the good spots and hide the bad ones.
If you want to add some special effects or patterns, you can install multiple tablet softbox images on your tablet , but otherwise all you need to get good lighting effects is your mobile device.
