Master the Game of Poker With This Free MIT Course on Poker Theory

Whether you love playing poker online for fun or want to mop the floor with friends on a typical poker night, this free online course from MIT will help you explore the game both inside and out.

The course is hosted by MIT’s OpenCourseWare and taught by Kevin Desmond, professional poker player and graduate student at MIT. The free course has eight video lectures (one of which is listed above) covering everything from basic strategy to advanced decision making, and all of the lecture notes are available for download. Everything you need to take the course is included, but keep in mind that this is a graduate course; so Desmond takes a pretty deep look at the game of poker. Who knows? You may even learn a thing or two that can help you outside of poker. No registration is required, so if you want to become a poker master, follow the link below.
