Most Popular Bulb: 60W Cree Soft White LED Bulb
Light bulbs come in all shapes, sizes, and even feature sets. Earlier in the week, we asked you for a selection and then reviewed the top five light bulbs overall. Of those five, only one was able to win the day, and now we go back to highlight which one.
It turns out that most of you just want a bright, affordable, durable and energy efficient light bulb that gets the job done without emptying your wallet. There was no competition for this – the 60W Cree soft white LED lamp took first place, gaining almost 52% of the total votes.
Budgetary sense didn’t just take first place – the runners-up and third place finishers were also economical, even if they didn’t have the bells and whistles like the others. Second, the Philips 454900 60W Slimstyle LED lamp earned your praise for its compactness, reliability , durability and low cost, with over 19% of the vote. Third place and almost 17% of the total votes went to the GE 60W Reveal LED Bulb , and many of you pointed out that all the magic GE hides under the hood makes their lighting really bright, even in their available bulbs. Multifunctional, smart home and safety lamps have ended up in the background, largely because of their price tag. The high quality original LIFX LED lamp with color change, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth came in fourth with 9% of the vote, and the BeOn Home safe smart LED lamp rose from the back, nearly 3% of the vote.
