Make Your Kids Learn and Build This Summer With Maker Camp 2015

If you’re looking for a great way to get rid of summer boredom, Maker Camp teaches kids how to create all kinds of cool projects right at home for free.

Maker Camp is an online summer camp for kids over eight who are interested in hacking, technology, DIY projects, crafting and learning. Here’s how it works: You and your kids sign up for Makercamp.com and every day there will be new videos on the site about projects they can work on. The videos, organized by Maker Camp “consultants”, teach campers how to create their projects and teach them in the process.

The camp is six weeks long and each week has a different theme so the kids don’t lose interest. If you prefer, there are even physical Maker Camps, housed in libraries, manufacturing spaces, and community centers around the world, where kids can learn together. Although the camp is geared towards young people, it is open to anyone interested in DIY projects and is completely free to attend. The first week of the camp has already begun, but it’s not too late to jump in and start building. We’ve talked about this before and we think this is one of the best workshops to help your kids not get bored in the summer. You can learn more about Maker Camp 2015 at the link below.
