Create a Solar Powered Mailbox Notification System
Tired of going to your inbox and finding it empty? Adafruit has a guide on how to create a system where you will be notified when mail arrives.
Here the system uses a couple of XBee parts, Flora, and a bunch of other random parts. When all is said, the magnet turns on a switch that lights up and then sends you a message that you have mail. This is a pretty tricky solution for something that doesn’t pose much of a problem, but fun nonetheless.
