If you find investing “fun,” you are probably taking more risks than you should. Adam Nash, CEO of Wealthfront, put it well: “Good investment is usually pretty boring.”

In other words: would you rather be sexy or rich? The investments you see in television and movies – constantly buying and selling stocks, daily market surveillance, and so on – can be attractive, but the best way to make money, especially for normal people, is to buy some good index funds. and (mostly) leave them alone for years to come. It might not be fun, but if you haven’t dedicated your life and career to the stock market, this is the best way to grow your wealth over time .
