Improving Video Quality on IPhone by Locking Focus and Exposure

When you shoot video with your iPhone, it tends to constantly refocus the image as you walk in and out of the area. This causes a lot of blurriness and the overall look of the addict. To solve this problem, Cult of Mac suggests exposure and focus lock.

Just launch the Camera app, set a video for it, then press and hold the screen where you want to set focus and exposure (usually the subject you are shooting). Hold this press until “AE / AF Lock” appears on the screen. Obviously, you now need to stay at the same distance and in the same lighting environment for the rest of the shoot, but at least you don’t have to deal with the iPhone’s auto-tweaking multiple times.
