Add Blueberries to Flour to Keep Muffins From Getting Wet on the Bottom
Blueberries straight from the bush are best, but freshly cooked blueberry muffins from the oven are not something to sneeze with. However, blueberries can sometimes sink to the bottom of a wet cake along with your dreams. The solution is simple.
Just sprinkle a little flour on the blueberries before tossing them into the batter. According to the good specialists at The Kitchn, this will absorb some of the liquid produced by the berries and hold them in place until everything hardens.
But if you don’t like blueberries (or muffins), don’t worry: this still applies to your life, as it works with chocolate chips or whatever other chunks you add, as well as cakes, scones and quick breads. If you don’t like muffins, chocolate chips, buns or brownies, I cannot help you and am afraid that you are lost.
