Todoist for Android Gets a Clean New Interface and Easier Task Editing

Android: Todoist is one of our favorite business apps , but its design has always been a little spartan. That changed with today’s Android overhaul, which includes a new, great looking redesign. The update also adds easier ways to add tasks, subtasks, and edit task duration and due dates.

The new design uses the Android Material Design specification to add color, fluid animations, and customize the once all white and black text in the app. The menus and switches are well spaced and easier to tap even on small screens, and the entire app has themes and other customization options that you can use to personalize it.

A new quick add button in the lower right corner of the screen makes it easy to quickly add tasks from any screen, and the new app date parser makes it easy to add natural language tasks (“pick up milk next Saturday”) and add items at the right place at the right time. The parser even works with repetitive tasks, so take the milk every second Tuesday is also good. You can also add end dates, such as “read three chapters every day until August 15,” to complete the assignment on the day you want.

All new features are available for both free and premium users, and an updated version of the app is already available on Google Play. Click on the link below to find out more.
