Plateaus happen. We know they will happen. In fact, when we reach a plateau, it means that we have made progress! This is the perfect time to look back and see how far you’ve come, because no human effort is linear. Learning a language, playing an instrument, dating, or literate writing all takes time, and improvements come in waves of easy progress, then stagnation, followed by bursts of further progress.

It’s the same with fat loss. Weight loss can be quick at first, because the more weight you need to lose, the sooner it will come. The closer you get to your target weight, the slower it gets.
