Build a DIY Arduino Tracking System to Track a Stolen Bicycle

Bicycles are stolen all the time and, unlike cars, are difficult to track down. If you don’t mind some work, Instructables user stbennet will show you how to create your own tracking system using Arduino.

The system costs about $ 225 here, so it’s only really worth it if you have a better bike. However, it is fairly easy to build using an Arduino, a GSM shield, a GPS system, and a few other components. The entire system is strapped and attached to the bottom of the saddle. Of course, if a thief has brains, they can remove it quite easily to disable tracking, but chances are they’ll figure it out after a while because it looks like a boring old toolbox. But above all, make sure your bike is securely locked . Head over to Instructables for a complete guide.
