With Revisions, you can view your file history by date, type, location, and more. You can then search for specific versions to narrow your search and find the exact version of the file you are looking for. You can then download that old version of the file or restore all patches at once. The app is free, but an in-app purchase unlocks additional features, including the ability to see which user has edited a file, advanced filtering, and more. However, the free version is sufficient for most of us.
