Google Maps Adds More Detailed Traffic and Accident Notifications
Android: Just in time for Memorial Day travelers, Google updated its Maps app with more detailed traffic and accident warnings.
Now that you get driving directions, Maps will give you more detailed information about the traffic conditions on that route. More importantly, it will give you little card notifications as you drive, letting you know how much lag you’re going to experience and how long you’ll be stuck there. You will also have the opportunity to choose an alternative route with explanations for each recommendation.
