Some electric kettles have narrow openings that make it difficult to reach the brush for cleaning. Luckily, you can clean them with boiled water and a little citric acid powder.
According to Jillee’s home blog One Good Thing , you just need to fill the kettle halfway with water and bring it to a boil. Turn off the kettle, add a couple of tablespoons of citric acid powder to the water and leave for 15-20 minutes. This should help get rid of stubborn plaque or mineral deposits.
