Glimpse Automatically Turns on the Screen to See Your Notifications
Android (5.0+). One of the great things about the Motorola Moto X is that you can see your notifications immediately as they arrive. Glimpse provides this feature on all Lollipop devices.
The app works by automatically turning on the screen when it receives notifications from certain apps. You can specify which applications will activate your display. Then just put your phone on a table or desk and keep an eye on it. Glimpse also comes with a pocket mode that disables the wake-up feature when your phone is in your pocket to conserve battery power.
