Most Popular Everyday Knife: Kershaw Leek

A reliable and reliable knife can come in handy in any situation, whether it’s opening a package or an emergency. Of course, you have tons of options. Last week, we asked you to list your favorites , and then we brought out the top five everyday knives and put them to a vote. We will now go back to highlight your favorite.

At the end of the day, Kershaw Leek took first place with over 30% of the vote – a great figure for an affordable 3-inch folding head knife, but not an overwhelming majority in any sense. However, many of you have supported the design and quality of the Leek blade and appreciated its versatility.

Second place went to another Kershaw of our five, the Kershaw Cryo , with just under 26% of the total votes. The Cryo has earned the same praise as the leek, although many of you preferred its smaller blade, tarnish resistant finish and color. Third place went to Opinel No. 7 Carbon , a twist-lock blade with a beautiful wooden handle, which received over 16% of the vote. Immediately behind him was the Spyderco Endura 4 Emerson, gaining an additional 16% of the vote thanks to its unique discoverer and quality steel. Rounding out the top five of our best knives is Gerber Ripstop , an extremely inexpensive knife with a striking design. He brought 11% of the vote.
