Use Leftover Ramen Seasoning in Eggs to Make a Delicious and Fluffy Omelet

Cooking ramen with your own seasonings allows you to make the instant product tasty, but if that leaves you with packs of seasonings with no obvious benefit. In this video, Chef David Chang has found a great use: Sheep – a properly cooked French omelet, flavored with ramen bags.

We’re not new to Chef Chang’s tricks with packets of ramen – we’ve shown you how he uses them to make delicious gravy, and how he uses ramen for incredibly fried chicken, but this is a simpler app perfect for Sunday brunch.

In short, you are just using ramen seasoning as a spice in scrambled eggs – add ramen seasoning before beating the eggs and cook them however you like. In the video above, he rolls a real omelet with a fluffier and looser omelet on top, but you can just whip them up or make any omelet you like. It’s important to remember, however, that since ramen dressings are mostly made up of salt (and monosodium glutamate), you don’t need to add anything to the eggs afterward. However, fresh herbs and peppers are more than welcome.
