Shopping online is convenient, but in terms of shipping costs and delivery times, it’s not always ideal. In-store pickup solves both problems: you order it at home, avoid shipping costs, and get it in minutes without browsing the store. Here are the retailers who are leading the charge.
Apple
With the Apple Personal Pickup Program, you can place an order from the Apple online store or the Apple store app and pick it up from your preferred retail store. After you place your order, you will usually receive an email within an hour notifying that it is ready. Upon arrival at the store, ask a member of staff to customize your device to your exact specifications.
Babies R Us / Toys R Us
Shop at Babies R Us or Toys R Us websites, select your home store by entering your zip code, and select Free Pickup at checkout. After you place your order, you will receive an email notification confirming that the item is in stock and ready to ship. Do not forget to take this letter with you when you receive your order.
According to their website , you also have the option of having someone else pick up your order. Select the ‘Retrieve from Store’ tab, then ‘Someone else will pick up this item’ and follow the instructions. Remember to bring your email with your credit card when you pick up your purchase.

Kohl’s in-store pickup program is new and is currently underway . Not all shops are involved. To determine if your local store has one, click Find in Store on the product page.
