VidCast Streams Almost Any Web Video to Your Chromecast
Chrome: Chrome makes it easy to stream YouTube videos to Chromecast. If you are watching the video on another site, it is a little more complicated. VidCast adds a bookmarklet to Chrome that allows you to stream videos from the current browser window.
Of course, streaming web videos is nothing new. You can just broadcast the video page, but it includes ads and additional content on the page. VidCast only streams video to your screen.
VidCast does this without installing any extensions other than the regular Google Cast extension. Once you find the video webpage, click on the VidCast bookmarklet and hit the play button. They will show a brief ad for dabble.me on your Chromecast while the video is downloading.
