Uber Drivers Can Now Earn Starwood Hotel Points
If you are an Uber user, you can now earn points for rides. The service recently teamed up with Starwood Hotels to participate in their reward program.
Starwood’s Preferred Guest loyalty program is popular in the travel rewards community . You can earn free stays with some of the popular hotel chains such as the Westin or Sheraton. Now with Uber, you earn one Starpoint for every dollar you spend.
There is a minimum of 2,000 Starpoints for one complimentary night stay. So if you only use this program with Uber, it will take a while. But if you’re already a Starpoint member, you can increase your rewards simply by linking your account to Uber. You can do this through the Uber app or through the Starwood website .
