Whether you are traveling around the city or across the country, a reliable and accurate weather forecast will help you feel comfortable and uncomfortable. Last week, we asked you where you get your forecasts and then looked at the top five weather websites . And now it’s time to crown your pet.

While the top five definitely looked different this time around, the winner hasn’t changed: Weather Underground took first place by a wide margin, with almost 47% of the total votes cast. For many of you, its accuracy, ease of use, and Wundermap are unmatched. Some of you are happy to pay for the membership, so you have access to a lot of additional weather data that you might find useful.

The runner-up was probably the source of much of this data and by far the source of most of the other weather websites on the Internet: National Weather Service / NOAA , with over 27% of the vote. Many of you have pointed out that there is no reason to use another service when you can go to the source. The battle for third place was fiercer, but Forecast.io took first place with just 10% of the total votes, thanks to strong but compelling predictions. Fourth place went to WeatherSpark with 9% of the vote, with those of you who voted praising its maps and charts and the sheer density of information presented on a single page. In second place with over 7% of the votes cast was The Fucking Weather , which gives you exactly what it promises – nothing more, nothing less.
