ITunes Adds a Notification Center Widget, Here’s How to Enable It
Mac: iTunes recently got an update that added a handy Action Center widget for managing music. However, it is not enabled by default, so here’s how to enable it.
As you might expect, the widget is pretty basic. Just open the Action Center and you will see a set of controls for iTunes. However, you first need to enable it:
- Go to System Preferences> Extensions
- In the Today menu, check the box next to iTunes.
- Open iTunes and play the song
From now on, you can control your music using the Action Center widget. You can also Option + click the Back button to turn on shuffle.
