LibreOffice Updates Don’t Sound Like Bullshit Anymore

Windows / Mac / Linux: LibreOffice has always been powerful enough to stand up to Microsoft Office , but it has also been a bit ugly and awkward to use. Today they released an update that completely redesigned the user interface and made it more user-friendly.

Most of this update is an improved user experience and user experience. Completely redesigned menu bars, context menus, toolbars, status bars and even rulers. Likewise, the sidebar is much more useful and easier to use. In addition, there are many internal improvements that complement the new look, including significantly improved change tracking in Writer, improved import filters for various applications, and a new OpenGL framework in Windows that improves transitions. If you’ve avoided LibreOffice because of its looks, now is the time to check it out again.
