Entertain Bored Children With “I’m Ready” Sticks
Children can be difficult to organize , especially when they are bored. Engage them with “I’m ready” sticks.
Basically, you jot down a bunch of activities on ice cream sticks, and when your kids come to you and complain that they are bored, send them to the jar of ice cream sticks. That way, they’ll have plenty of opportunities to have fun, and you can focus on what you need to do around the house.
You can apply this technique to children of all ages. You can create a separate set of chopsticks for each child, or make a fun set and productive set (for example, practice multiplication tables, etc.).
