Memorize Speech With “key”

You already know that you don’t want to read speech from screen or notes verbatim. You can memorize the speech verbatim, but not everyone can do it – and this is unnatural. Instead, use “key images” to remember important points.

A helpful infographic from Essay Tigers explains that you must find a visual image for each part of your speech. It’s like memorizing someone’s name with visual engagement , but with your speech.

After you post these images, you memorize the details of the image, not the exact words you say. Obviously, though, if your speech is all about facts and figures, this advice won’t work either.
