Change SwiftKey Long Press Settings for Faster Typing
Android: Long press on keyboard in SwiftKey brings up other options like special characters and punctuation marks. Change the long press duration to get these advanced settings a little faster, instead of having to wait an inconvenient amount of time to get to the advanced options.
Just go to SwiftKey Settings and do the following:
- Go to Advanced> Long Press Duration.
- Move the slider to change the duration as desired.
If you set it to a shorter time, such as 250 milliseconds, you can access the parameters faster than the default setting. Otherwise, switching to a longer time will ensure that you don’t accidentally open key options. This is a small change and may affect your typing speed, especially if you use a lot of special characters.
